Meet: Nivo!

Hello, world! Meet the newest addition to my family: Mr. Nivo!

During this crazy quarantine time, I decided to become a foster with the Arizona Border Collie Rescue. I had been looking at them for quite some time in search of a flyball dog for my family. Well, I fostered (and loved) this little guy.

His name is Nivo! He's about 1 year old and sugar sweet. He got his name after Nivolumab, the drug that saved my life. For those that don't know, I'm a Stage IV Melanoma survivor and Nivolumab is one of the largest reasons I'm still here. I love the story that Nivo saved my life, and now I get to save Nivo's.

He's very busy (as most border collies are) so taking photos of him is quite challenging. But I think he's starting to get the hang of it! The treats also help us work on his 'wait' command.
